"I obtained my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University in August of 2020. I am a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have clinical experience working with diverse populations and individuals presenting with issues such as: substance use, anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, grief/loss, and trauma. I utilize an integrative approach that focuses on person-centered and trauma-informed care, often implementing interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. I recognize that change can be difficult and believe a positive therapeutic relationship is beneficial to support my clients in working toward their goals. I am committed to fostering a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental environment that helps clients explore and process their thoughts, emotions, and concerns. I am honored to hold space for my clients and support them in their unique journeys to enhance their quality of life. Outside of the therapy office you can find me playing with my Australian Shepherd, Apollo, practicing yoga, or training for my next half-marathon.
